Grade the News encourages the free distribution of our articles, opinion pieces, scorecards and other materials on our Web site. We have just three conditions:

1. Do not use it for commercial purposes.
2. Please don't edit or otherwise change the content.
3. If you excerpt the information in a publication, Web site or e-mail, please credit us, and let us know where it appears.

Discussion forum guidelines

Anyone may contribute comments on our coverage or on the quality of local news media using The Coffeehouse, our online discussion forum.

To promote constructive exchange, we prohibit off-topic messages (particularly "spam") as well as any defamatory, profane, potentially libelous, commercial, advertising or pornographic material. We reserve the right to delete or edit messages we feel violate these guidelines. Repeated posting of such materials could result in being barred from the coffeehouse. If you feel an entry violates these guidelines, please notify us and we will review it.

Privacy policy

Grade the News will not reveal your name, e-mail address or other personal information to any third party unless you give us explicit permission or we are required to do so by law enforcement agencies. We also will not sell, rent or lend our e-mail database to any company or individual.
